Children at Christ Church

Children are welcome at the 11am morning service. There are baby changing facilities in the toilets and a private area for feeding. Toys are available for the very young.

The children leave for Junior Church after the second hymn except during All Age worship (usually the last Sunday of the month) when children stay for the whole service.

Midweek Children's Groups

Tiddlers worship and praise for the under-fives takes place on Mondays 10.30am - 11.00am during term time.

The Peacebuilders Peformance Art Group for 7-12 year olds meets on Tuesdays from 5-6 pm during term time. The group puts on two productions a year, including a Christmas play. The children also put on the ocassional short play or dance during the morning service.

Mothers and Toddlers group meets on Thursdays from 10.00 - 11.30am.

Brownies meet on Fridays from 6.45pm - 8.15pm.

All who work with children are Criminal Record Bureau checked in advance.

One-Off Events

Christ Church sometimes runs one-off activities during school holidays.
